Key Features of Network
Routes PL1 and PL2 will operate approximately every 30 minutes. They will overlap between Portlaoise Train Station and St. Peter and Paul’s Church (Stradbally Road/ Borris Road) via JFL Avenue, providing an approximate 15 minute frequency on this section.
Routes PL1 and PL2 will provide early morning and late evening services to Portlaoise Train Station to facilitate travel between Portlaoise and Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
Routes PL1 and PL2 will provide improved connectivity to Portlaoise Town Centre and Laois Shopping Centre, with PL2 also providing improved connectivity to Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, St. Fintan’s Hospital and to the IDA Business and Technology Park.
PL1 and PL2 will provide improved connectivity to the wider TFI public transport network.
